דיווחים והדלפות חדשות חושפות את מה שככל הנראה יהיה מעבד הביניים החדש של Qualcomm, ה-Snapdragon 775
אמנם מעבדי הדגל של חברת Qualcomm לשנה הנוכחית כבר נחשפו ושומשו בחלק ממכשירי הדגל של השנה, אבל טרם נחשף לנו מעבד הביניים החדש של החברה, שאמור להיות ההמשך הישיר למעבד הביניים הקודם, ה-Snapdragon 675. נראה שאתר XDA Developers מצא לנו פיסת מידע די אמינה של מה שאמור להיות מעבד הביניים החדש של החברה, ה-Snapdragon 775.
לפי מה שפורסם, ההדלפה הראשונית אודות המעבד החדש נחשפה באמצעות ערוץ טלגרם בשם XiaomiUi (ערוץ שאינו רשמי לחברת Xiaomi, MIUI או Qualcomm). אתר XDA Developers הצליב את המידע שנחשף בערוץ זה עם מקור נוסף ומוכר שאכן אישר את פרטי ההדלפה שנחשפו, כך שהסיכויים שמה שאנחנו רואים כאן הוא נכון ועתיד להיחשף באופן רשמי בקרוב.
ה-Snapdragon 775/775 5G הולך להיות מיוצר בטכנולוגיית 5nm, אותה טכנולוגיית ייצור בה מיוצר מעבד הדגל הנוכחי של החברה, ה-Snapdragon 888. מעבר לכך נחשף שהמעבד החדש ככל הנראה יתמוך בשני גלי השידור המרכזיים של קישוריות הרשת 5G (גם קישוריות sub-6 וגם קישוריות mmWave) לצד תמיכה בתקני Wi-Fi מתקדמים יותר ועוד.
כמו כן נחשפו בהדלפה השוואות שנערכו בין ה-Snapdragon 775 לבין ה-Snapdragon 765G שהוא מעבד ביניים שמיוצר כיום בטכנולוגיית 7nm ומשמש חברות רבות במכשירי הביניים שלהן.
